A Bit About Me

I'm Zahra Hasan, the founder of PDX Future Voters!

I am currently a junior in high school looking to make an impact. From a young age, I’ve always been curious about what drew people toward the news. I didn’t understand it then; honestly, it takes too much effort to understand now. I wondered what the point of the news was if the information it delivered was tainted by bias and lack of coverage and acknowledgment of relevant and ongoing events. I want high schoolers to know that it is essential to be exposed to and aware of the changes in our legal system and how it affects them. Moreover, I hope that once people are aware of this, they will want to make a change.
